Artist Books
COLLECTION OF HAND-MADE BOOKS, 2021
Mark Making was my first artist book which features four intuitive mark compositions.
Say It was created using paper that I made by hand. It is made up of collage elements with song references sprinkled about.
Here Comes the Sun is a pocket book featuring seven photographs of my favorite spots in SF, each one unlocking a new memory.
Lilacs highlights Waxahatchee’s song of the same name and experiments with the art of the line.
Um Jardim Que Não Era Meu is a Portuguese poem written by Alvarinha Rodrigues, a grandmother figure in my life.
It is a long metaphor about devastating love, intergenerational female bonds, and the chains of saudade.
